Hear from a panel of individuals with lived experience of homelessness as they share how homelessness has impacted their mental health and the ability to obtain proper mental illness treatment.


Healthcare students, trainees, practitioners, and other interested audience members are encouraged to learn about the intersection of mental health and homelessness.


The panel was moderated by Dr. Carine Nzodom, Medical Director of Behavioral Health Homeless Services at NYC H+H and Unit Chief of the Extended Care Unit at Bellevue Hospital Center.


Panelists included M.A. Dennis, Phillip Fleming, Chaplin James Brett, and Rue Parkin.
