Renowned Entertainer, Community Leader, and Drag Queen Candy Samples returned to host, the 5th Annual Drag BINGO with Candy Samples, a fundraiser for helpNYC on Saturday, August 19, at 7:00p in St. Benedict's Garden at St. John's in the Village 224 West 11th Street at Waverly Place, West Village, Manhattan.
The event raised $ 1,229.54 for the 2023 Summer in New York fundraising campaign. All proceeds go towards the work of helpNYC.

About Candy Samples
Candy Samples is the singing/songwriting drag phenomenon, having performed in NYC for 20+ years. Most widely known for her shows at Albatross Bar, she’s also graced the stages of The Duplex, The Laurie Beechman Theatre, and the former Sidewalk Café. Her new full-length album of original music, “Bittersweet” is slated for an October release.
Her singles, Bear Season, Queen of the Bears, and Sweet Scandal can be found on all streaming and download platforms. Candy is no stranger to using her Powers for Good, working with AIDS Walk NY (GMHC), Braking AIDS Ride (Housing Works), CrescentCare, and Queens Pride, and encouraging her audiences to get out in their communities and make the world a better place!
